De hectareopbrengsten bij Bintje in België ligt op 53 ton per hectare na 135 groeidagen, zo blijkt uit proefrooiingen op 29 percelen door het Belgische onderzoeksinstituut PCA.
Gemiddeld werd bij proefrooiingen over de laatste tien jaar na 135 groeidagen een opbrengst gemeten van 49 ton Bintjes per hectare.
In Vlaanderen is nu een gemiddelde opbrengst gemeten van 50 ton, in Wallonië van 56 ton. Er zit veel variatie in de percelen, meldt het PCA. “Er worden opbrengsten genoteerd van amper 36 ton tot ruim 69 ton.”
De aardappelen zijn grof, vindt het PCA. “Dit seizoen valt 81 procent van de opbrengst onder de grove sortering. Dit is goed voor gemiddeld 42 ton +50 mm aardappelen per hectare met een variatie van 28 tot 58 ton.”
Het onderwatergewicht schommelt tussen 329 en 431 gram per 5 kilogram. De frietkwaliteit van de zestien Vlaamse percelen was op één na zeer goed.
