Potandon Produce will be the exclusive marketing agent for Campbell Farms fresh potatoes. Under this arrangement, Potandon will focus on the marketing and sales of the Campbell Farms crop, which will enable Campbell Farms to focus on quality, farming, and packing.
With the addition of Campbell's North Dakota, Florida, and Minnesota operations, Potandon further strengthens its red and yellow potato supply base, enabling the company to bring even more value to its customers and growers. Campbell's current acreage base coupled with Potandon's multi-state co-packing network also means increased volume and year round supply of red, yellow and specialty potatoes.
Potandon plans to incorporate Campbell's sales staff into its operations and to continue packing and shipping all existing labels (including Green Giant Fresh, Sunfresh, and private labels) as well as the Campbell Farms labels.
