Potato starch supplier Solam sets its sights on growth

Solam, the distribution joint venture between the starch manufacturers Emsland and Lyckeby, has set itself a target of raising sales volumes by 3-5% this year.

This growth is to come from different sectors of the paper industry. The company intends to scale back its distribution of native potato starch in the future and focus on speciality products.
