AVR, a global leader in potato cultivation machinery, strengthens its presence in the Northern Netherlands.
Agricultural potato machinery manufacturer AVR expands its dealer network in Northern Netherlands

The company AVR from Roeselare (Belgium), a specialist in machines for potato cultivation and a global player in that segment, is carrying out a strategic restructuring and expansion of its network in the Northern Netherlands. After the recent start-up of its own dedicated Sales and Service team, AVR has now expanded its dealer network for that region.

Kristof De Ruyck, Sales Manager Benelux at AVR, leads the strategic expansion to better serve customers in the region.
Kristof De Ruyck, Sales Manager Benelux at AVR:
"Following the bankruptcy of our former dealer GroeNoord, we were forced to review our representation in the Northern Netherlands to guarantee immediate support to our local customers."
"That is why, after the earlier establishment of our own Sales and Service Team for the Northern Netherlands, we have expanded our dealer network for that region. This means that our existing and future AVR customers can always count on expert advice and fast, efficient service."
AVR is expanding its dealer network with the following dealers:
- Weevers Nieuwstad with branches in Marknesse and Lelystad
- Dijkstra Mechanisatie with branch in Holwerd
- Selles Techniek with office in Smilde
- Tijms Mechanisatie with branch in Geesbrug
- Agricultural mechanization company Oosterhof with branch in Oude Pekela
- Bruggeman Mechanisatie with branches in Broekland and Lemele
- Kraakman with branches in Oldenhove and Zijldijk
In addition, Mechanisatiebedrijf Van Der Laan, which is located in Harlingen, will remain an AVR dealer.

AVR’s updated dealer network in the Northern Netherlands ensures local farmers have direct access to expert support and services.
