Eagle Eye Produce Completes New Automated Potato Packing Facility in Idaho

Eagle Eye Produce has completed a new red and yellow potato packing facility at its existing operation in Idaho Falls, Idaho, adding greater automation and AI-powered optical grading to its packing capabilities.

New Facility Expands Red and Yellow Potato Programs

After more than a year of construction and development, the new facility is now operational. Built within Eagle Eye Produce’s existing Idaho Falls operation, the facility incorporates advanced technology throughout the potato packing process. 

A key feature is AI-powered optical grading, which is designed to improve grading consistency according to customer specifications. The increased automation is expected to support greater efficiency, quality and flexibility across the packing operation.

Investment Supports Growing Potato Demand

Eagle Eye Produce said the investment strengthens its ability to support the continued growth of its red and yellow potato programs while enhancing its packing capabilities.
