GRIMME Opened a New Branch in Cape Town to Strengthen Support in Sub-Saharan Africa

GRIMME has opened a new branch in Fisantekraal, Durbanville, Cape Town, strengthening its presence in South Africa and the broader sub-Saharan Africa region.
The new facility is set to officially open in January 2026 and will provide access to GRIMME genuine parts and machinery for potato, vegetable and sugar beet production. The expansion is aimed at improving availability of equipment and streamlining the supply chain for farmers operating in the region.

Farmers across South Africa and sub-Saharan Africa will benefit from faster access to original GRIMME parts and the company’s latest technology solutions. The new branch is expected to support agricultural operations by ensuring that essential machinery and components are readily available, particularly during peak farming periods.

GRIMME Africa will staff the new branch with a team of local specialists, providing technical expertise and tailored support to farmers in the region. The presence of a local team is intended to help address region-specific challenges and support productivity improvements through targeted solutions.

Enhanced after-sales service
The Fisantekraal branch will also strengthen GRIMME Africa’s after-sales service capabilities in collaboration with its dealer network. With improved service capacity, the company aims to reduce equipment downtime through faster response times, troubleshooting support and training programs.
