Jason O’Leary takes over leadership of the IFA Potato Committee during a challenging period for Ireland’s potato sector
Jason O’Leary elected Chair of IFA Potato Committee

Jason O’Leary, a potato grower from Blackwater, Co. Wexford, has been elected Chair of the Irish Farmers' Association (IFA) Potato Committee, which represents potato growers within Ireland’s largest farming organisation.
He succeeds Sean Ryan, who has completed a four-year term as Chair. The Committee acknowledged Sean Ryan’s significant contribution and leadership during his tenure.
O’Leary said he is looking forward to taking on the role at a critical time for the sector.
