Horticulture Crop Protection Ltd (HCP) is a non-profit, grower-owned business established in the United Kingdom that provides plant protection product authorisations to the horticulture industry. The organisation was founded by the UK horticultural industry to manage applications for Extensions of Authorisation for Minor Use (EAMU) and Emergency Authorisations (EA), assisting growers in obtaining crop protection products for crops that are often of limited commercial interest to agrochemical companies.

HCP was established following the closing of AHDB Horticulture to fill a regulatory support need for UK producers. It is responsible for the whole authorisation process, including technical testing, data coordination, application preparation, and submissions to the Health and Safety Executive's Chemicals Regulation Division (CRD).

With over 30 participating crop associations, HCP provides essential regulatory support across the UK horticulture sector. Its expert team, including experienced crop protection specialists, ensures growers continue to have access to the plant protection products necessary for sustainable and high-quality crop production. Through its partnership with GB Potatoes, HCP now plays an instrumental role in safeguarding the future of the British seed potato industry.
