McCain Foods introduces Air Fryer Thin Crisps and Air Fryer Tater Crisps in Canada, offering two new frozen potato products designed to deliver restaurant-style crispiness in 9–10 minutes
McCain Foods Canada Launches Air Fryer Thin Crisps, Air Fryer Tater Crisps

McCain Foods has announced the launch of its new McCain Air Fryer lineup, developed to deliver restaurant-quality crispiness using an air fryer.
Air fryers have transformed how Canadians prepare everyday meals, gaining popularity for their speed, compact size, and crispy results. The appliances have also become a popular cooking method for french fries.
While all McCain french fries can be prepared in an air fryer, the new lineup has been specifically designed for the appliance to deliver restaurant-style crispiness and crunch at home.
McCain Introduces Two New Air Fryer Products
The new McCain Air Fryer lineup includes:
McCain Air Fryer Thin Crisps: Featuring a julienne cut, these extra-thin fries are optimized for air frying and deliver a crispy texture in just 10 minutes.
McCain Air Fryer Tater Crisps: A new interpretation of the classic potato tot, featuring a distinctive bite-sized shape, crispy golden edges, and a light, fluffy interior. The product can be prepared in an air fryer in just 9 minutes.
Mike Embir, Senior Marketing Director, North American Retail at McCain Foods:
"We know there's nothing quite like the craving for hot, crispy fries. With our new McCain Air Fryer lineup, we're helping Canadians satisfy that craving with restaurant-worthy fries at home, in just 10 minutes."
McCain Launches Fryjacking Campaign
To promote the new products, McCain is introducing a marketing campaign built around the concept of "fryjacking," highlighting how cravings for crispy fries can interrupt everyday activities.
The campaign will appear across social media, music playlists, and outdoor advertising, emphasizing the convenience of preparing crispy fries at home in approximately 10 minutes.
McCain Brings Air Fryer Fries to Ontario Universities
In November, McCain will visit selected university campuses in Ontario to introduce students to its new Air Fryer products.
Students at Queen's University, the University of Waterloo, the University of Guelph, and Western University will have the opportunity to visit the McCain 10-Minute Reset Lounge.
The multi-sensory experience is designed to provide students with a break from classes and exams while enjoying freshly prepared McCain Air Fryer fries.
