Het Belgische groenteverwerkende bedrijf Pinguin heeft een akkoord bereikt over de overname van de Food afdeling van Christian Salvesen. Het betreft de verwerking, verpakking en opslag van diepvriesgroenten in de Britse vestigingen in Bourne, North Thoresby en Easton. In het boekjaar eindigend op 31 maart 2007, rapporteerde de business 44,6 miljoen pond aan inkomsten en een operationeel bedrijfsresultaat van 700.000 pond. De definitieve overname wordt midden september verwacht, na een consultatie van het personeel.
