Join Reading Bakery Systems (RBS) for a comprehensive 2-Day Pretzel Training Seminar, an exclusive hands-on program designed to equip snack manufacturers with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to master the pretzel-making process from start to finish. Held at the state-of-the-art RBS Science & Innovation Center in Sinking Spring, Pennsylvania, this immersive training provides unmatched access to RBS experts, advanced equipment, and real-time production environments.

Over the course of two days, participants will experience an in-depth overview of the entire pretzel manufacturing process, including ingredient functionality, dough development, extrusion techniques, proofing, cooking, baking, and drying. The seminar blends classroom instruction with extensive hands-on sessions, allowing attendees to run equipment, evaluate product quality, and troubleshoot common production issues directly on the RBS pilot lines.

The training covers a wide range of pretzel variations, including traditional hard pretzels, soft pretzels, gluten-free formulations, as well as specialty products such as co-extruded filled pretzel nuggets. Attendees will gain practical insights into both batch and continuous mixing systems and will learn best practices for optimizing throughput, consistency, and final product quality.
