Potato Varieties

Beo is a specialist crisping variety, with high dry matters and low reducing sugars. It has early crop maturity and is suitable to quality crisp production either fresh or from long term storage. They are uniform, round tubers that produce a golden crisp when fried.

The potato variety Moa is a very early, nematode-resistant premium chip potato, particularly suited for chip production. This variety is particularly attractive for producers looking for an early-maturing potato with stable quality for chip manufacturing.

The Novano potato variety is known for its high yield and suitability for processing, particularly in the production of French fries and other fried products. Sassy is a maincrop potato variety with oval, white-skinned tubers and attractive red-violet flowers. It is noted for its good resistance to powdery scab, blackleg, and skin spot, along with strong resistance to PCN Ro1 and partial resistance to Pa 2/3, 1.

Verdi is a medium early crisps variety. It also can be used for the production of starch and dehydrated potatoes. The quality of the crisps is excellent even after long term storage. Resistant against PCN Ro1, 4 and potato wart disease 1, late blight and blackleg.

The Glorietta potato is a very early to early maturing variety developed for the premium fresh market. It is a firm-cooking type with excellent flavour and no discoloration after cooking, making it especially suitable for salads and fresh table use.

The Pirol potato is a medium-early variety developed by NORIKA in Germany and introduced around the year 2000. It is derived from the well-known AGRIA variety, inheriting many of its desirable traits. Pirol produces medium-sized, round-oval tubers with shallow eyes, uniform in size, and covered with smooth yellow skin.

Euroviva is a late variety with a long vegetation time ensures starch performance at the highest level.

Kufri Lavkar is an early maturing variety (matures in 70 days in plateau and 100 days in the plains) with round white and light creamy firm flesh tubers.
