Product Description
CMP has manufactured a high performance blow off conveyor to remove water from the surface of plastic packaged food products prior to pack off into boxes.
The unit features a set of high impingement jets to remove any puddles of water from concave surfaces in the packaging. The product then flows through four air knives – two upper and two lower air knives.
It features a unique design for the lower air knives – the conveyor belt is guided around the lower air knives such that the entire air velocity impacts the package for maximum water removal.
Utilization of the CMP blow off conveyor has allowed for pack off into normal box board eliminating the requirement for expensive wax coatings to maintain box strength.
