Rockyview Elite Tuber Alanis Seed Potatoes

ALANIS

Alanis is a new variety especially produced to have good drought and heat tolerance. The tubers are large with fluffy flesh when cooked, good for baking and chipping. The high yields and good storage qualities are a bonus too. Due to the excellent tolerance against Phytophthora infestans Alanis is suitable for the organic cultivation.

CARA

Very robust variety with very good resistance to drought, foliage and tuber blight and good resistance to common scab and viruses. It is extremely high yielding and very uniform. CARA is also a versatile potato suitable for a wide range of culinary uses including frying.
Charlotte

CHARLOTTE

Charlotte potatoes are a second early variety. It is the first firm flesh potato variety ever released on the French market and now a reference. Notwithstanding its high qualities for Salad potatoes, Charlotte also makes very tasty French fries.
Desiree

DESIREE

Maincrop maturity, with high yields and early bulking. Medium dry matter, firm cooked texture, good boiling, fresh French fry, and mashing quality. High resistance to drought and good resistance to potato virus Yo and powdery scab. Susceptible to potato cyst nematode Globodera rostochiensis Ro1 and Globodera pallida Pa2/3,1, and mis-shapes on heavy soils. Moderately susceptible to spraying and mild mosaic viruses.
DITTA

DITTA

Medium-early ripening, robust Austrian potato variety. Waxy potato with a yellow, smooth, firm skin and an aromatic, balanced taste. Ideal for salads. Needs medium-heavy soils, regular nutrient and water supply. High nematode resistance.
HERMES

HERMES

Middle maturing export variety with a good crisping quality. It is a high-yielding variety, strong against scab, heath, and drought.
