The Lockyer, Brisbane, and Fassifern Valleys, as well as the Southern Downs, Redland Bay, Caboolture, Bundaberg, Atherton Tableland, and Charters Towers, are the primary potato producing regions in Queensland. The industry largely serves the fresh market, with one segment specialized to crisping potatoes for processing.
DAF offers tools like as the "Potato Information Kit," which includes advice on production practices, pest and disease management, and marketing tactics.
