Florigo is a Netherlands-based manufacturer of commercial frying equipment that designs and builds integrated frying benches (bakwanden) for the foodservice industry. The company serves snack bars, fast-food restaurants, cafeterias, fish and chip shops, and other hospitality establishments with custom-configured gas and electric deep-fat frying installations.
Founded in the late 1940s by Floris Goes, who was inspired by English fish-and-chip fryers, the company began producing frying ovens in 1951. In the 1960s, under the name Florigo Industrie, it also manufactured industrial frying lines for potato processors such as Aviko and Smiths (now Lay's). The industrial branch was sold in 1981, after which the company focused exclusively on foodservice frying benches. Following several ownership changes including BMA and TNA, Florigo operates under the QBTEC group alongside De Kuiper, with both brands maintaining their own identities.
