Goldstein Agrarhandelsgesellschaft mbH is a German trading company that sources, stores, processes and packs table potatoes for the retail food trade and the fruit and vegetable industry. Founded as an agricultural warehouse, the family-run business markets potatoes from regional Franconian growers as well as from across Germany, supplemented seasonally by imported produce from various countries. The company supplies all three cooking types — waxy, predominantly waxy, and floury — meeting the requirements of retailers and commercial customers.
The company was founded in 1904 by Rudolf Goldstein, who established an agricultural warehouse with a cider press and distillery in Zellingen. Josef Goldstein took over the business in 1944, and after his early death his wife Lilli Goldstein led the company from 1953. Willi Goldstein and his wife Brigitte took the helm in 1963, expanding into onions and supplying machine-packed goods to the retail trade. Since 2000, Ulrich Goldstein has run the company together with his wife Anja.
The company operates from its headquarters at Oberbachring 4 in Zellingen, Bavaria, Germany. Its customers include retail chains and businesses in the fruit and vegetable sector. Goldstein Agrarhandel is IFS-certified (Wholesale, Higher Level, 99.29%), QS-certified, and holds additional certifications including organic (EU Organic), Regionalfenster, Geprüfte Qualität Bayern, and Herkunftszeichen Deutschland.
