Company Description

Snyder's of Hanover is a family owned manufacturer of snack foods, including potato chips. Snyder's, located in the US, is specialized in pretzels. Snyder's bought bankrupt Jay's Potato Chips in December 2007. In October 2009 the company announced the acquisition of Utz Quality Foods, pending FTC approval, but the merger did not materialize.

In December 2010 Snyders of Hanover and Lance merged to form the company Snyders - Lance.
