In 1991, brothers Alex and Mart Verbruggen founded Verbruggen, a construction and machine-building firm, in Emmeloord, the Netherlands. It constructed the first palletizing equipment in 1992 to stack seed potato sacks automatically. Later on, the business entered foreign markets, and in 2013 it established its first office outside of the Netherlands in Pasco, Washington. The company’s headquarters in Emmeloord, the Netherlands, is supported by regional offices in the USA, Argentina, Thailand, and Bangladesh, allowing it to serve clients worldwide with localized expertise.
