Cafetaria’s hebben in het tweede kwartaal van dit jaar gemiddeld 9,4 procent meer omzet behaald dan in dezelfde periode een jaar geleden. De cafetariasector is daarmee de best draaiende sector in de horeca. De omzetsprong volgt op een goed eerste kwartaal, toen de omzet al met 7,9 procent omhoog ging.
Het volume in de cafetariasector in het tweede kwartaal nam toe met 6 procent. Een gemiddelde prijsverhoging van 3,2 procent zorgde voor een omzetoename van 9,4 procent, zo laat het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) weten.
