As part of the ongoing restructuring of the EUROPLANT Group, Karmark Int. A/S will be renamed EUROPLANT Scandinavia ApS at the start of the 2026/2027 potato season.
With this rebranding, the Group continues its strategy of bringing its breeding and sales activities together more closely under the EUROPLANT brand on an international level.
For customers and partners in Scandinavia, their usual points of contact will remain the same: the experienced and dedicated team will continue its successful work as before and maintaining a strong focus on the specific requirements of the Scandinavian market.
Timo Peters, Managing Director of EUROPLANT Scandinavia:
"By changing our name to EUROPLANT Scandinavia, we are creating a clear connection to the EUROPLANT Group whilst strengthening our position in the Scandinavian market."
"With our already proven young varieties, including EMILIANA, VINDIKA, MELISSA and CORINNA, we have a solid foundation on which to meet future requirements. Not only in the table potato segment, but also in processing potatoes, our varieties EUROPURA, ISLARA, SARATOGA RUSSET and THEDA are delivering promising results."
EUROPLANT Scandinavia will continue to work closely with the Group’s breeding and sales units to provide high-performing potato varieties tailored to the diverse needs of the market. The focus will be on issues such as yield reliability, quality, sustainability and adaptation to changing climatic conditions.
