McCain hopes busy Chinese like fries

February 26, 2008
China, India and other developing countries will become "critically important cornerstones"for the frozen food giant as increasingly time-pressed consumers in emerging economies start to reach for products that simplify their lives, said Dale Morrison, the chief executive.   Right now, the company is mostly experimenting in China and India having recently opened production facilities in both countries. The lion's share of its roughly $6-billion in annual revenues is generated in the U.S., Canada, the United Kingdom and Australia. But a decade from now, China, India and the other so-called BRIK countries, Brazil and Russia, will be crucial to McCain's bottom line.
