De vakbeurs Agrotechniek Holland is groter dan ooit en wordt voor het eerst in Biddinghuizen georganiseerd. Na allerlei regionale evenementen was er volgens organisator Willem Bierma behoefte aan een nieuw, groots evenement met allure, vergelijkbaar met de Landbouw Rai die sinds 2004 niet meer is gehouden. "Zo'n evenement is er nu, volledig volgeboekt. In een economisch lastige tijd is dat boven alle verwachtingen."
Het terrein omvat 180.000 vierkante meter, en zal gevuld zijn met de nieuwste trekkers, oogstmachines en technische snufjes. Op het trekkerplein kan men een aantal trekkers zelf uitproberen. Op het evenemententerrein bij Walibi World staan van 8 tot en met 11 september ruim 2.500 landbouwmachines, van ruim 400 merken. Agrotechniek Holland moet een tweejaarlijkse evenement worden voor de agrarische sector.
