Urschel to Showcase Little Gem Aspire Dicer and Precision Cutting Solutions at SIAL Paris 2026

Experience Urschel precision cutting firsthand with the new Little Gem Aspire™ Dicer at SIAL Paris, taking place at the Paris-Nord Villepinte from October 17-21, 2026. Presented on a custom-made platform, the new Urschel cutting concept will be performing live test cutting demonstrations throughout the duration of the show.

Joining the Little Gem at SIAL Paris will be a range of heavy-duty Urschel equipment. Urschel Precision Cutting Solutions at SIAL Paris

The Little Gem Aspire™ Dicer is a new Urschel cutting concept in produce processing. Engineered through extensive R&D by the Urschel Innovation and Development department, the compact dicer employs a patented StatiCut™ knife assembly and crosscut knife assembly to achieve slices ranging from 2 mm – 20 mm, dices up to 20 mm, and strip cuts. Named after the original Little Gem, the new dicer combines easy use with strong performance, expanding on its predecessor that led Urschel to become the global leader it is today.

With a large 32″ (813 mm) diameter cutting zone, the CCX-D Shredder with 15 HP (11 kW) motor delivers continuous shredding operations to promote higher capacities and lessens product build-up. The versatile machine features different interchangeable cutting heads, enabling changeovers in just minutes. An attached swing away feed hopper, hinged access panels, sloped surfaces, and stainless steel highly polished to U.S.D.A., Dairy Division accepted standards promote optimal sanitation.

The Sprint 2® Dicer with built-in discharge conveyor belt provides continuous 2- or 3-dimensional cutting for uninterrupted production. Its slice thickness, crosscut, and circular knife spindles can be adjusted to achieve a full range of dices, crumbles/granulations, or strips. As product moves through the process, precise cuts result from the crosscut knife spindle working in conjunction with other cutting components to create a compact cutting zone. The conveyor belt offers optimized, controlled, and complete discharge of the cut product to reduce waste.

As the most versatile machine in the Comitrol® line, the Comitrol® Processor Model 1700 offers many high-capacity reduction possibilities for unlimited continuous production, including comminuting, granulating, milling, flaking, slicing, liquefying, dispersing, and pureeing.

The Comitrol® DM 380 features a unique disc plate design and adjustable gap setting to process nuts in small batches or for high-volume, continuous production. The machine reduces whole/split nuts into a flowable nut butter or paste, and butter texture is controlled through the plate gap adjustment.
