De aardappelcontracten van Eurex Frankfurt, die sinds juli 2009 worden aangeboden, zijn een groot succes.
Dit vertelde Sascha Siegel, vicepresident van Eurex Frankfurt, voorafgaand aan de eerste beursnotering voor aardappelen van de Landbouwbeurs Noord en Centraal Nederland (LNCN) in Emmeloord.
Siegel geeft aan dat er, gezien de animo, veel vertrouwen is in de aardappelcontracten. Hij wilde ook het gerucht de wereld uit helpen dat Eurex Frankfurt de futures exchange in Hannover zouden hebben overgenomen. "Dat is niet waar. We wilden de strijd graag aangaan, maar zij zijn gestopt", aldus Siegel.
