De Nederlandse aardappelsector heeft dit seizoen tot en met november 309.898 ton aardappelen geëxporteerd. Dat is ruim 25 procent meer dan de 246.405 ton die in dezelfde periode vorig seizoen is verkocht aan buitenlandse afnemers.
De export naar Rusland is met 32.217 ton meer dan verdrievoudigd, blijkt uit cijfers van de commissie Consumptieaardappelen van het Hoofdbedrijfschap voor de Agrarische Groothandel.
Ook de export naar België is sterk gestegen. Vorig seizoen is tot en met november 79.535 ton aardappelen naar België gegaan. Dit jaar is dat 133.972 ton. De export naar Polen is verachtvoudigd naar 4.463 ton.
