According to APEC (Atlantic Provinces Economic Council), Prince Edward Islands exports of frozen french fries are down 20 per cent, while exports of fresh potatoes are down 25 per cent.
The drop in exports of potatoes and fench fries leave its mark on the total figure: Prince Edward Island's overall exports are down 18 per cent -- the steepest drop of any province in Canada.
