With two weeks since the start of the 2011 PROCESS EXPO member round of exhibit space selection, booth sales already reached over 100,000 square feet.

“We’re extremely pleased, but not surprised,” said Scott Scriven, Chairman of the Food Processing Suppliers Association and President of Weber, Inc. “The new show format has received high praise from both exhibitors and attendees. We simply listened to what they wanted and gave it to them,” he continued.

PROCESS EXPO will transition to a biennial show in Chicago, starting November 2011. It continues with a horizontal focus, serving multiple industry sectors including Meat, Bakery, Dairy, Fruit &Vegetable, Beverage and Confectionery.

This worldwide event is expected to be the largest PROCESS EXPO show to date and has garnered much excitement, evident by the growing list of bellwether suppliers who have already claimed their space at the show.

“Many industry leading companies such as Alfa Laval, CFS, Key Technologies, REISER, SPX, Tetra Pak, Urschel Laboratories and Weber Inc. have stepped up early to commit to space at the 2011 show,” said David Seckman, President &CEO of FPSA. “These companies represent a handful of more than one hundred companies already signed up. It’s a great sign to see so many industry leaders contracting for space early. It’s clear they understand the value of the new show format and are 100% committed to the effort,” continued Mr. Seckman.
