Prince Edward Island potato farmers growing for McCain Foods voted in favour Tuesday night of the latest contract offer from the company.
They'll get more money to cover the higher costs of production.
"The increase includes money to the base price of the contract as well as improvements to the incentive parts of their contracts. So it's a contract that the growers were willing to accept,"said Scott Howatt, the processing co-ordinator for the PEI Potato Board.
