Third BMA Snacks production line for FICO

Food Industries (FICO) is a leading snack manufacturer located in Kuwait. FICO has more than 30 years experience in the field of snack processing.

Over the years FICO grew from a company of less than 30 employees to an international operating company with several divisions and departments and more than 200 employees. The company holds a leading position as a food producing company in Kuwait.

Since the 90’s Food Industries company has as main objective and mission to guarantee the health of the children by using natural ingredients and the latest process technology.

FICO and BMA agreed on the supply of a new potato chips line with a capacity of 300 kg/h final product. This new production will be installed in the existing factory, where the other BMA potato chips line is in operation.

BMA will arrange the integration of a new chips line, while at the same time BMA will update the existing production line. Interesting to mention is that this existing production line is in operation without any problems more than 10 years.

Besides a chips line, FICO has an extruder line and a BMA pellet frying line.

Over the years the relationship between both companies intensified and is based on mutual respect and determined to supply a high quality products and solutions.

The new potato chips line is expected to be operational early 2012.
