Exports of Ukrainian potatoes for the first half of the 2010/2011 season were record in history. In particular, in July-December 2010, previous year's index was exceeded 11 times.
Surprisingly, Belarus was among the largest buyers of Ukrainian potato.
In January 2011, export shipments of potatoes to Russia and Belarus decreased significantly, but did not stop completely, experts noted.
