Hello Hot2HomeTM Skin On Fries for extra taste and crunch!

Hello Hot2HomeTM Skin-On Fries – for extra taste and crunch!

Everyone loves fries and the huge growth in the home delivery market offers a massive opportunity to please customers and boost profits. Fries with everything, to go! But fries don’t travel well, which is why Lamb Weston invented the revolutionary Hot2Home™ – to save the world from cold, soggy and unappealing fries.

July 16, 2019
Hot2Home, launched in the United Kingdom last year, keeps fries hot and crispy for an amazing 20 minutes!

It’s revolutionised the home delivery market and wowed the industry, scooping a Silver Award for Foodservice Best New Ingredient, Component or Accompaniment Product in the British Frozen Food Federation’s (BFFF) Product Awards 2019 and Gold at the Casual Dining Show’s Innovation Challenge 2019.

Hot2Home Fries works in a winning combination of two parts: newly developed fries with a special ultra-thin starch coating (a closely-kept secret recipe!) to ensure they stay crispy and flavourful longer – plus a patented packaging that works with the fries coating to stay hot and crispy for 20 minutes.

And now, tah-dah, introducing brand new Hot2Home Skin-On Fries, ready for the market in September! With that delicious extra potatoey taste, we can now keep all fries lovers satisfied!

Hot2Home regular fries are available in two cut sizes, 6x6mm and 9x9mm, and Skin-On comes in 9x9mm. Like all our Hot2Home products, these new fries are available as product only, or as part of the first to market one-fry solution for home delivery, takeaway and dining in, with the award-winning fry–cup combination, although the guarantee for 20 minutes hot and crisp works only when you use both together!

Andrea Deutschmanek, Lamb Weston’s Country Marketing Manager UK & ROI:

“Customers want hot and crispy fries with their meal and Hot2Home really ‘delivers’! It’s truly the end to soggy fries and now, with Skin-On added to the range, all fries lovers will be happy. It’s an exciting, innovative solution in a growing market which can boost sales for operators and ensure consumer satisfaction.”
The packaging has been created with sustainability in mind too; the wood used for the carton board is harvested under the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the greaseproof coating on the cardboard is also fully recyclable so the consumer can dispose of the packaging at home. Win win!
