Founded in 1928, the company has grown to be Germany’s largest producer of potato starch and a global leader in producing modified starches, proteins, fibers, potato flakes and granules. “Using nature to create” is at the core of our value-creation model: working sustainably and in harmony with our natural resources in every idea we generate and each product we produce.

With seven production locations in Germany, the Emsland Group serves customers in over 100 countries and consists of approximately 1,500 employees worldwide.
