Isollux has been developing specialist LED lighting for demanding industrial and food-production environments since 2007, with extensive experience in applications where conventional industrial luminaires frequently fail to provide acceptable long-term performance.
Food production combines moisture, sanitation chemicals, high-pressure cleaning, refrigeration, hot water and, in the most demanding applications, direct steam. Many luminaires sold for these environments rely primarily on their IP rating, yet ingress protection alone does not establish how materials, seals and components will withstand these conditions over years of operation.
This is where Isollux takes a different approach. Rather than treating food production as a single environment, Isollux selects the construction and materials around the conditions in each area of the plant. M2 (TPX) provides enhanced resistance to aggressive food-hygiene chemicals and non-steam CIP, while M1 is engineered for direct steam, prolonged hot water, severe hydrolysis and thermal cycling.
The specialist range includes Proline TPX IP69K chemical-resistant linear lighting; PV3-M1 for direct steam CIP and severe sanitation; Sabre SBR/SBX hygienic high bays; Soffito SFO/SLP for hygienic processing and controlled environments; and Cryolux for cold stores and blast freezers. PowerBay, PCX and CMx extend the range into production, packing, warehousing and logistics.
Conservatively operated Isollux XE LED systems, carefully managed operating temperatures, appropriate material selection and serviceable construction support extended operating life and reduced maintenance. High-CRI and specialist spectral options are also available for sorting, inspection, grading and quality control.
The result is a food-production lighting range developed for specific operating environments, rather than expecting one generic IP-rated luminaire to perform everywhere.
Designed for food production. Engineered to perform. Built to last.
