Sunchips original will continue to be sold in the "noisy" compostable bags, but all other Sunchips versions will be packed in regular (non-compostable) packaging until an improved biodegradable packaging is developed.
Now it turns out that the reversal to regular packaging is taking place in the US, but not in Canada.
In Canada, all Sunchips versions will be sold in the biodegradable packaging. In fact, Frito-Lay Canada is making quite a point of this fact and built a social media campaign around the fact that they are keeping the compostable packaging in Canada.
