Small line to pack potatoes
In this example of a small line to pack potatoes (5 ton per hour), produce can be received onto an Elevator where they are fed into a Horizontal Debris Remover, to remove loose dirt, vine, and other debris.
Flume Destoner
Wyma's Flume Destoner removes stones and clods from your produce flow to minimize damage to equipment and produce further down your processing line.
Combi-System
Our Combi-System combines a Tank Destoner, Barrel Washer and Floating Debris Remover. Produce and stones are fed into the Tank Destoner.
Vege-Polisher™ V4
Our V4 Vege-Polisher™ has many features including automated machine operation and improved access for maintenance and cleaning. Our Vege-Polisher™ has a rotating drum made up of rows of nylon brushes. Produce enters via a large infeed chute.
Tuber washer
Herbort Tuber washer is ideal for pre-cleaning and washing of all root vegetables. For special applications, the drum can be divided into a wet and dry section.

Mini-Wet Hopper

Wyma's Wet Hopper provides a gentle pre-washing system, to receive produce into washing and packing lines. The system comprises hopper storage, a floor conveyor, discharge elevator and can also include optional add-ons and/or customized modules for a tailored solution.
Rotary Screen Water Recycling System
Wyma's Rotary Screen Water Recycling System removes vegetable matter, debris and dirt from Vege-Polisher™ wastewater so the water can be reused. Wastewater and debris are collected in the sloped catchment tray.
Washing & Grading Plant
The plant is designed for the preparation, washing, polishing and sorting of ware potatoes. Both parts of the plant display first-class workmanship down to the smallest detail and are connected together in a highly efficient manner.
