The Pirol potato is a medium-early variety developed by NORIKA in Germany and introduced around the year 2000. It is derived from the well-known AGRIA variety, inheriting many of its desirable traits. Pirol produces medium-sized, round-oval tubers with shallow eyes, uniform in size, and covered with smooth yellow skin.

Colomba is high-yielding, easy to grow, to store, and can be the star in several kinds of tasteful dishes. The variety is also known to be grown as a low-calory variety to meet consumer needs.

The Novano potato variety is known for its high yield and suitability for processing, particularly in the production of French fries and other fried products. It has round-oval shaped tubers with smooth yellow skin and white flesh. Novano is valued for its excellent frying qualities, producing uniform, crispy fries with good texture.

Avamond is a potato variety developed for use in the production of flakes and granules (i.e. dried potato products). It offers a good balance of yield and processing quality, especially in systems where nitrogen input and cost efficiency are important.

The Eldena potato variety is a medium-early processing type specifically bred for the production of flakes and granules. While details about its origin and release are not widely available, Eldena is recognized for its high yields and stable processing qualities under both fresh market and storage conditions.
