The QualityGrader by Flikweert Vision is an advanced optical sorting machine designed specifically for potatoes and onions. How the QualityGrader Works
- Detect: See Every Product from Multiple Angles Industrial RGB cameras capture each potato or onion multiple times from different viewing angles. Depending on the machine configuration, the system uses 6 or 9 cameras to provide detailed visual information for accurate inspection.
- Assess: AI-Powered Quality Evaluation Advanced AI models evaluate every individual product objectively and accurately. Based on user-defined tolerances, the system automatically determines whether each product meets the required quality standard or should be rejected. The AI models are continuously improved using real-world operational data.
- Primary Sorting: Accurate Removal of Defects Products identified as unacceptable are precisely removed from the main product flow. This creates a reliable separation between good-quality produce and defective or unwanted products while reducing dependence on manual inspection.
- Secondary Sorting: Create an Additional Product Stream For applications requiring greater separation, an optional second ejection unit can be added. This allows the system to separate good product, lower-quality product, and foreign objects into different streams.
- RejectSeparator: Separate Stones and Clods The optional RejectSeparator can further process the rejected stream by separating stones and clods. This creates an additional product stream and can be flexibly used with multiple QualityGraders.
