The Sormac DMC Potato Halving Machine is designed for halving peeled potatoes, dividing each potato into two pieces with consistent and precise cuts. The machine is designed for high-capacity processing and can handle up to 72,000 potatoes per hour.
The DMC uses a self-aligning roller bed to deliver the product consistently to the cutting system. This even product feed, combined with sharp rotary blades, ensures precise and uniform halving of the potatoes.
Consistent and Precise Cutting
The self-aligning roller bed helps position the potatoes consistently before they reach the cutting section. The sharp rotary blades then divide the potatoes into two pieces, providing a consistent cutting result.
The machine is designed for potatoes with a diameter of 40–55 mm and a maximum product length of 90 mm.
Continuous Processing
The DMC is equipped with a continuous processing system, which is designed to reduce wear and tear and therefore reduce machine maintenance. The continuous system also enables higher processing capacities.
The machine incorporates a continuous cutting system. Together with the even product feed, this allows the DMC to achieve its high processing capacity of up to 72,000 pieces per hour.
High-Capacity Potato Processing
With a capacity of 72,000 pcs/h, the DMC is designed for applications requiring high-volume potato halving. Its continuous processing and cutting systems support efficient operation while maintaining consistent product cutting.
