From Wednesday 5 to Friday 7 February 2014 Agrico exhibited at Fruit Logistica in Berlin. During this major and well-attended international trade show, Agrico presented its extensive range of seed and table potatoes.

The Members' Council of AVEBE has appointed Henk van Dalen (61) and Peter Poortinga (52) as members of AVEBE's Supervisory Board.

The AVEBE potato starch concern has reached a new Collective Labour Agreement (CLA) with the trade unions.

AVEBE has again achieved a higher performance price over the last year. This performance price was 77.36 Euro per ton of potatoes, therefore exceeding previous year's price of 76.94 Euro per ton.

HZPC Holland B.V. announces that the quotation of HZPC-certificates is determined at € 85.00. This is an increase of 9% of the quotation since the last stock trading day in last May.

Last year Henk van den Berg sold his potato business of the same name to Lean Kranenburg, and since then he has been active as Sales Manager at the company in Nieuw Vennep. Henk calls the current situation on the potato market dangerous.

HZPC Holland B.V., world leader in potato breeding announces that during the shareholders meeting of 10 October the financial statement was approved and the dividend of HZPC certificates was determined on 1 euro.

Last week, Kees van Arendonk, chair of the Dutch Potato Association (NAO) spoke about the Dutch and Belgian french Fry industry on the occasion of the opening of the trading year of the Dutch potato markets (Goes).

De notering voor fritesgeschikte aardappelen van de telerbeurs Emmeloord is donderdag gezakt met €?7,50 ten opzichte van de vorige week.

De totale Nederlandse export van consumptie- en industrieaardappelen zal dit seizoen ruim boven de 1 miljoen ton uitkomen.

In Nederland werden in de maand mei 285.500 ton aardappelen verwerkt tot consumptieproducten. Dat is 12.400 ton (4.5%) meer dan in mei 2010 (273.100 ton).
