Agata is a very early maturing, yellow skinned, yellow fleshed variety with an attractive bright skin. Agata produces high yields of uniform shaped tubers and is known for its high pack-out.

Chateau is a variety that can be considered to be a true 'salad potato’. Salad potatoes need to have a long oval tuber shape, in combination with a firm cooking type.

This variety is a cross between Marabel and AR 93-1243, an Agrico Research seedling. Marabel is a major consumer variety in Germany. This is the first successful variety for breeder Jan Lucas Spijkman.
