In 1988 production was started in Norwich in the United Kingdom. The United Kingdom business operates as Kettle Foods Ltd.
In September 2007 a second US plant was opened in Beloit (Wisconsin).
Kettle Foods Inc boasts a strong commitment to "natural"and "sustainable". This commitment was recognized in the LEED® Gold Certification for Sustainable Design for Kettle Foods new Beloit plant, the "greenest food manufacturing facility in the US".
In September 2006 Kettle Foods was sold to Lion Capital.
In March 2010 Kettle Foods was acquired by Diamond Foods and became as a result of acquisitions a brand of Snyder's Lance (2015) and later The Campbell Soup Company (2018)
