Het verwerkingscijfer in juli 2007 viel met 187.700 ton aardappelen flink tegen. Uit het overzicht van het HPA (bron) blijkt dat het cijfer de afgelopen 23 maanden nog niet zo is laag geweest. Vorig jaar in juli werden er 214.200 ton aardappelen tot consumptieproducten verwerkt. Van het totale kwantum verwerkte aardappelen is slechts 69.600 ton voorgebakken, bijna 23% minder dan in juli 2006. Het kwantum "andere producten"bedraagt 26.200 ton wat vergelijkbaar is met de voorgaande maanden.
