The Potato Processing company Mydibel in Belgium has appointed Marc Van Herreweghe as CEO of the Mydibel Group. Mydibel wants to strengthen its management team to support the national and international growth ambition of the frozen french fry manufacturer.

Marc Van Herreweghe is an expert in People Leadership, Business Integration & Transformation, Operational Excellence, Industry 4.0 and Acquisitions.

He started out his international career at British American Tobacco, a leading multinational with 44 factories in 42 countries. His impressive track record at BAT culminated in his appointment as Group Head of Manufacturing, heading up all the group’s factories.

He subsequently worked as a consultant for various international companies, joining IDC (International Data Corporation), a world leader in Market Intelligence, Advisory Services and Research, as Associate Vice President, among others.

He also still serves as a member of the board of directors of several organisations.

His success is based on his management skills as well as on his leadership skills and respect for a company’s culture, which allows him to get the best out of his team, time and again. Efficiency, motivation and flexibility are the cornerstones of any successful undertaking after all.
