BPC launches the Great Potato Challenge 2008
October 02, 2007
The British Potato Council starts a new search to find the UK’s best potato dish. As part of the Great Potato Challenge 2008, they are looking for pub and restaurant chefs that can cook up an innovative and tasty potato-based main course dish

It can be a new recipe or an old favourite that keeps customers coming back for more – All that is required is that potatoes, whether boiled, mashed, baked or roasted, must be the main focus of the dish and not just an accompaniment (you can use any other ingredients too). As well as the chance to win the prestigious Great Potato Challenge Champion’s title, there is also a £1,000 holiday up for grabs, so what have you got to lose?

The closing date for entry is Wednesday 31 October 2007
