In Nederland schiet het rooien van het areaal aardappelen ten noorden van de grote rivieren flink op. De inschatting is dat begin week 42 is dat 85% geoogst is. In het zuiden en zuidwesten van Nederland moet volgens inschattingen nog zeker 50% van de aardappelen gerooid worden. De werkzaamheden van de totale hoofdoogst liggen achter op voorgaande jaren. Het is op diverse plaatsten nu weer wat te nat en ook de verwachting van de koude nachten levert menig teler zorgen over de kwaliteit (verdere toename van de blauwgevoeligheid).
