Ter gelegenheid van de algemene vergadering van Belgapom in Lokeren werd uittredend algemeen voorzitter Antoon Wallays, bedrijfsleider van het aardappelverwerkingsbedrijf Agristo in Harelbeke, herverkozen.
Tevens werd de raad van bestuur voor 2009 – 2010 als volgt samengesteld:
Voor de handel: Joost Blanckaert (Potato Masters), Yvo De Putter (Van Remoortel), Alain De Wulf (De Wulf), Bart Muyshondt (Muyshondt), Rik Tanghe (RTL patat), H. Valcke (M. Valcke &Zn).
Voor de verwerking: Jan Clarebout (Clarebout), Carlo Mylle (Mydibel), Luc Raes (Agristo), Marc Seru (Eurofreez), Guy Van de Broeke (Van den Broeke Lutosa), Jan Vercruysse (McCain Foods Belgium).
Tijdens deze algemene vergadering werd verder ingegaan op de activiteiten van het voorbije jaar met o.a. het VN internationaal jaar van de aardappel, Interpom Primeurs en de viering van het 60-jarig bestaan van Belgapom.
