The Prince Edward Island Potato Board has found a new General Manager to lead the organization. Greg Donald will take on the senior role with the Board, effective Monday, February 16th.  Board Chairman Boyd Rose made the official announcement during the Potato Day meeting today in Summerside.

Greg has over twenty years of experience in the potato industry, including five years with McCain Foods in New Brunswick in the areas of agronomy, potato production, potato procurement and green crop field management. He then spent the past 14+ years in progressively responsible management positions in the agricultural crop input business in Atlantic Canada and Maine with the Cavendish group. Greg has participated in a number of industry organizations. He is a past president of the Atlantic Fertilizer Institute, and has served on the executive committee of Crop Life (Atlantic). He has also participated in the Canadian Horticultural Value Chain Round Table. Greg has a B.Sc(Agr) from the Nova Scotia Agricultural College, and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
