Het prijsniveau van aardappelproducten in de winkels is vorige maand verder gedaald.
De consumentenprijs voor tafelaardappelen ligt op het hoogste niveau in vijftien jaar. Dat blijkt uit de consumentenprijsindex die het Centraal Bureau voor de Statistiek (CBS) vandaag bekendmaakte.
Het prijsniveau van tafelaardappelen ligt 45 procent hoger dan een jaar geleden. Het prijsverschil met vorig jaar is daarmee groter geworden. In augustus bedroeg dit verschil 30 procent.
De prijsontwikkeling bij aardappelproduct ligt op het laagste niveau sinds 2006. De prijsdaling van vorige maand wordt toegeschreven aan supermarktaanbiedingen bij chips.
Diepvriesfrites werd iets duurder ten opzichte van augustus.
Het gemiddelde prijsniveau van aardappelproduct ligt 6 procent lager dan in 2009.
