"Cultive su propias papas", el proyecto educativo para alumnos de enseñanza primaria en el Reino Unido, sigue creciendo. Cuenta ya con 13.000 centros escolares inscritos para el 2011, el equivalente a 60 por ciento de todas las escuelas primarias en el Reino Unido.
La participación de la industria aumentó igualmente. Hay productores listos para ayudar a las escuelas locales con la siembra (15 de marzo) y la cosecha (21 de junio). Así mismo, un número considerable de proveedores ha proporcionado las papas de siembra para el material escolar.
